World Dog Show 2021

The IKC proposal to bid to host the World Dog Show in Ireland in 2022 was positively received by those spoken to at the World Dog Show in Moscow last weekend. We are cognisant of the support for the WDS 2022 bid by the Brazilian Kennel Club given it is also their Centenary year in 2022 and the recent transfer of WDS 2017 from South America to Europe.

Accordingly IKC is going to focus its bid on hosting the WDS in 2021 which also marks an important Centenary leading to the formation of the IKC in 1922.

Please see the following as communicated to the President of each of the FCI affiliated national kennel clubs yesterday by the IKC President, Mr Sean Delmar.
